Best Run Club in PL?
....Obviously not us, but who?

I do feel one club stands out for the way it is managed from top to bottom.

Southampton seem to have a very good 'blueprint'

Re: Best Run Club in PL?
Trv, not bad from a money making perspective but football wise they achieve nothing.

Very few teams achieve anything without spending a lot of money. sadly Tottenham are probably a decent example of a team that's been built up steadily and might unfortunately be on the cusp of success.

Trevor - I'm not sure that Southampton supporters agree with you. A fine production line, sure - but they get sold all the time.

Tottenham are definitely up there. Arsenal too, depending on your criteria.

Re: Best Run Club in PL?
On The, surely Arsenal are seen as a club regressing and an example of very poor management at the top.

Re: Best Run Club in PL?
That's why it depends on your criteria. They'll still finish in the top four, they still get to the knockout phase of the CL, they still sell all of their really expensive tickets, they still do loads of corporate - without shelling out too much money on players. That's why I'm sure they love Wenger at the top.

People say Spurs, but they're just bankrolled by a billionaire, albeit one who does it quietly.

I mean ifyou're talking about making wedge had over foot then Arsenal must be very near the top.

Re: Best Run Club in PL?
Edd, Maybe correct but would they have sold Payet for £25 million? Do they have British youngsters playing in the first team? Will they have the best training ground and stadium combinations in the PL?
